Sting beat the Spirit 5 2 Hockey News
Trevor Kell registered two goals and an assist as the Sarnia Sting beat the Saginaw Spirit 5-2 in Ontario Hockey League action Friday.
Kyle Tront, Justin DiBenedetto and Steven Stamkos added for the Sting (8-2-0-0).
Zack Torquato and Jan Mursak put away one apiece for Saginaw (7-4-0-1).
Parker VanBuskirk stopped 47 shots for the win.
Ryan Daniels allowed 4 goals in two periods, before being replaced by Jovica Zelenbaba, who made three saves.
